Stephen’s clients range from individuals to startups to multinational corporations.  He also provides advice on IP license agreements and IP portfolio management. Stephen works closely with executives and technology leaders to help them leverage their firms’ IP for maximum strategic benefit. He has a wide variety of industry experience in the areas of electronics, software engineering, telecommunications, and manufacturing.

A vigorous advocate for his clients’ interests, Stephen has appeared before the Patent Appeal Board, the Trademarks Opposition Board, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Ontario Superior Court.
