William has experience in a wide range of areas of law including patents, trademarks, copyright, breach of confidence, broadcast, and contract, and he has successfully litigated at all levels of the Federal Courts of Canada, including the Supreme Court, as well as the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.  In the right cases, William has assisted clients with obtaining litigation financing.

William served as an editor of the Canadian Patent Reporter and has been a Registered Trademark Agent since 2010.
